Ursolic acid in pharmaceutical industry
1. Liver protection
In the treatment of liver-related diseases, ursolic acid can quickly restore liver function. It has the characteristics of a fast, stable effect, and short treatment course.
Indian scholars Saraswat and others found that bulk ursolic acid powder can treat liver-damaged cells and protect the liver. The experiment shows that ursolic acid has an anti-cholestatic effect, and can increase bile flow. Pretreatment with ursolic acid can significantly increase the survival rate of rat liver cells.
2. Lower blood lipids and blood sugar

1. UMnti-oxidation
As a strong antioxidant, ursolic acid has an obvious antioxidant effect and can scavenge free radicals. It can absorb ultraviolet rays and prevent pigmentation caused by ultraviolet radiation. It positively affects human anti-aging, skin freckle removal, and pigmentation removal.
2. Inhibit melanin, skin whitening and remove spots
Skin color mainly depends on the content and distribution of melanin. Melanin exists in the basal layer of the epidermis. Tyrosinase promotes the formation of melanin by catalysis, causing melanin to transfer from the basal layer to the outer layer of the epidermis, thus coloring the skin.
Ursolic acid can inhibit the activity of tyrosinase and the production of melanin by directly combining with tyrosinase.
